Webmasters.? when im older i want to be a webmaster. does anywon know any websites that tell you stuff about webmasters and stuff like that.
How do I find webmasters to trade quality links with? I have been building links on my own for about 9 months now. My sites rank fairly well in the SERPs for certain terms and they do show PR2-PR4 on the Google Toolbar. I have yet to attend any conferences and the major webmaster forums seem full or scammers and spammers, so I am reluctant to reach out there for contacts. Until I do get around to attending industry events, what are some other ways to find willing webmasters to trade some links with?

Graphic Designers / Webmasters: How to choose the best resoultion with 2 different monitors? My boss asked me this question: You have two monitors: 22" and 17". The 22" is 16:9 aspect ratio and the 17" is a 4:3 aspect ratio. If you are using them side by side, what resolution should each monitor be so it doesn't seem stretched out and disorted. I've tried every single resolution pattern and still think one is still weird while the other is fine. Anyone have any idea? Of course, the bigger screen is for design / coding.. the smaller one is for consumer view.
How much money do webmasters make? I'm thinking about offering to build and maintain a website for a friend of mine in exchange for her lessons. She doesn't have one and needs one. It would be a pretty basic CSS site, with the most complicated element probably being a "contact me" email form. How much would one charge to do something like this? Seriously ... how hard is it to hire a better webmaster to design a better website(s)? Maybe we should start a petition that says, "Dear AOL, please go bankrupt and die. Thanks!" and send it to their HQ.
Does Google Webmasters Record Your Own Visits? I have a website, with a google webmasters account, and I would like to know if my own clicks in the google search engine affect the webmaster records. And if so, is there any way to filter them out?
