2. you need to understand how people buy things nowadays. they react in certain behavior. it is not like in the past when affiliate marketing is still new most of the people back then all eager to know what it is all about.

Now after the Internet has been exposed to millions of affiliate products, quality and usefulness has become the major concern. Internet community are looking more towards credibility and expertise before deciding on buying affiliate products. so the way to sell affiliate products has changed dramatically.

this would never heard from super affiliate or gurus because if they say this their follower would never buy their affiliate programs they promote. they would say "money is in the list'. but people in a list only buy from trusted, reliable people or well known internet marketer. the reason they are super affiliate because people trust them not because how they sell it. i believe 80% of the reason why people buy from them is trust. so if you a newbie or beginner do you think you have the trust when you sell it to complete stranger. I don't think so. and people you trust doesn't mean they sell good stuff. they could use the trust to take advantage of other people. i say this because i heard a lot of complain towards the gurus. so if you have gain trust please make sure you really help the buyers and give them complete picture.

for that reason above if you want to involve in affiliate marketing you need to gain credibility first. and guess what. it won't happen overnight. just show expertise in your area first. show people that you know stuff that could benefit them. make a website and put useful unique content on it.
