1. Experience.
All level II does is provide you with more bid/ask info. Instead of seeing only the best bid/ask, you see those further away. Whether or not it is valuable is debatable. Some like it, some experienced investors ignore it. If you have it, the best think to do is follow the level II quotes and price movement. See if it tells you anything.

Also, be aware that level II is for NASDAQ. All bid/ask quotes will not show.
