What is the best online brokerage firm to use if you online if you make under 50 trades per year?

Mainly buy and hold, but I want low commssions, and to know that my order will be executed quickly not 3 days later.

4. I use TD Ameritrade www.tdameritrade.com

Somebody above said Waterhouse which no longer exists. They were merged into TD Ameritrade.

5. I've used schwab.com for years. They give great service.
