Stock Trading and Other Things

Hi is there somewhere online you can go to find a stock ticker with most of the stocks and the prices?

I am just looking for a ticker from a website that shows several of the stock ticker symbols and the current prices just like cnbc does at closing time. I have looked everyone and most only have what you enter. I want lot of thems for a project.

1. The Wall Street Journal gives you real time both during and after hours for subscribers. They may give you the same quotes for the free version as well, just not the detailed research that subscribers get. I really don't know because I have subscribed for the past 12 years.

You wont be able to use Wall Street Journal for detailed or numerous quotes at market closing times if you are not a subscriber.

3. The best way to do this would be to use Google Finance. You can just go to "create a portfolio" and then enter in all the stock tickers (you don't have to say how many of each stock you own). Once your portfolio is created, you can go to "my portfolio" and it will show current prices for all the stocks on one sheet. Its a good way to get all the current information in one place.
