Stock Trading and Other Things

i'm sure it might sound like a tall order but...does anyone know of a free real-time desktop stock ticker?

I've tried one called Desktop US Stock Ticker which was not as it says(NOT real-time!!!) I need it to be spyware/adware free,not a CPU hog,and I can customize it as far as(in order of importance)position/placement on desktop,number of stocks and scroll speed.

1. I have an account with Scottrade and (not to pimp them or anything like that) they have a very nice, free streaming stock quote java app that runs very nicely.

If you dont really want to use a scottrade account, you might be able to just sign up for one and never deposit the money ;) They dont make you deposit funds right away so who knows, you might get free access to the streaming stock quotes. Good luck

2. You have to pay for that service (basic level). There are a few types of levels with the top level allowing you to watch backed up orders going through the line and at times the name of the buyers and sellers although the top level also allows you to hide your trades from others.
