1. How are integers a major part in the stock exchange?
2. Why is the stock exchange located in NYC?

1. 1. integers (whole numbers) represent the trading prices (actually an integer plus a part of an integer, usually, as in 52.25 per share).
2. there are stock exchanges in many large cities, Paris, Frankfurt, Singapore, HongKong, and also in Boston, Philadelphia, and Chicago. The NY is the biggest and best know.
3. Mr. Dow founded a financial news reporting system with a partner, Mr. Jones, hence 'Dow Jones'.
4. 'bulls' are those expecting the market to go up, 'bears' are those expecting the market to go down.
