Australian citizen wants to buy shares in Company listed on Toronta Stock Exchange?

I am an Australian who wants to buy stocks in a Canadian mining company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. How do I do this online? I have applied online through my Australian bank to buy and sell shares using my Aust. account, but this only applies to the Australian Stock Exchange (I think) obviously new to this!

I am surprised that the bank won't do it for you. You could try one of the global banks. UBS, Citi, JB Morgan or ABN AMRO/RBS come to mind and should be able to do it for you.
