How long should a requested check take?

I have $42,000 at an online brokerage firm. I asked over the phone for a request for this money and they said it could take a while and my best bet is to get an online form and mail it in. I sent this form in with my request 2 weeks ago. My account history doesn't show any action being taken. This firm gave me a 90 day trading restriction on the account and that is why I want to change. Shouldn't it be easy to make up a check for me? How long do you feel this check will take and should I call them about it?
