Pretty simple, which are the best companies to invest in, in the Toronto Stock Exchange right now?

1. dont know if their in it, but Apple Inc. is always a good choice for investment

2. I am not the person to tell you about the "best companies" trading on the TSE.

I can tell you that I have been looking for a little exposure into Canada and one stock trading on both the TSE and NYSE is Pengrowth Energy Trust (NYSE: PGH). I came across it running a stock screener and It is currently on my watchlist.

It is an Investment Trust. The purpose of the Trust is to directly and indirectly explore for, develop and hold interests in petroleum and natural gas properties.

Edited: I should add that I mis-typed. I do already have exposure to Canada through a gold company Yamana Gold (NYSE: AUY). They are a long-term play.
