What is a general commission split for brokers?

I have a school project due so any one who is knows the real estate business and can give me answers to the following questions in regards to brokers firms

commission splits, training, what is supplied, do they hire full time or part time, what kind of support is offered, is it a franchise or independent, what will be expected of you, what amount of income can you espect for the first year, do they help you set goals, any other pertinent details?

Public Comments

1. From the wording of the questions it appears they are designed to elicit details about individual agencies rather than general market comments.

For example: is it a franchise or independent.
Answer: Some are franchises or branches of a national chain. Others are independent.

There are both full time and part positions available at brokers.

Income varies, as you would expect.

You need to present these questions to individual brokers.
