Or would i be flaged as a pattern day trader?

1. Yes. If your make 4 or more day trades within any 5 consecutive business days you will be labeled a pattern day trader. Once a week would not exceed that limit.

2. Not sure if I understand your question or even if you understand day trading. People that day trade are basically trading all day, buying and selling. For many it is their livelihood.
If you just plan to purchase a stock, be it what you call "hot" or not, then you are an investor, not a trader.

3. Well !! how much you got in your account? Are you on margin? are you high? How smart are you? Wold you be flagged ? I don't know but sounds like you will not be having any actions on your account till you say sorry the them, and it sounds like 90 days.

4. That is simply just buying stocks. You have to be constantly buying and selling stocks on the same day to be called a day trader. Flagged for what? You are no where close to be labeled as a day trader.
