1. You can make this into a swivel type of deal. You can start with real estate since it's the quickest industry to develop in. From there you can look into the commodities trading, then to the solar power plant developer and then make the financial firm and investment banking your last since it requires that highest amount of capital and time.

2. First you need to find an area that has a lot of untapped opportunities in the areas that you have described. I would take some real estate classes as well as business classes to prepare yourself for this new world you are entering into. I think a solar power plant is a great idea, and so many more people are interested in investing in green alternatives. If you could present the idea to investors and the town I think you could get a lot of support (future jobs, increased income for the town, tax breaks...etc). Good luck with your ventures!
