What are the good guerrilla marketing ideas for responsible dog ownership?

Guerrilla marketing these:

- Buy your dog from a right place (reputable breeder, NOT pet shop)

- Adopt dogs from animal shelter

- choose the right breed

*** Target markets are young adults 18 - 30

I hate guerilla marketing! I really don't have the big brain for that!
Hope somebody help :)

1. Good question!

I believe we have to begin with very young children. My daughter and I are working on developing a program where small children (with their parents) will learn how to care for and respect animals of all kinds. We will bring in puppies and kittens that are being fostered by the Humane Society, and volunteers will work one on one with them.

I also am working on a benefit concert that will also be educational for teens and young adults. We'll have bands, and in between we will give the hard cold facts - that 70% of cats and 2/3 of dogs are euthanized every year in the US. That not spaying and neutering one single cat can result in thousands of unwanted kittens being born, and the same for dogs. And that the diseases affected strays are now at epidemic proportions, etc. And then there are the things going on with our food meats - truly horrifying, inhumane and bad for our own health.

One thing I have learned is you have to get the message out in as few words as possible. This is only a problem because we live in a society that doesn't stop to listen or think things through. No one would fail to spay or neuter if they understood the magnitude of the problem.
