1. Stocks are not labeled day trading. You control when tl buy and sell. Recently I set stops wrong and was closed out the same day. I have a warning now on my account for day trading cause you need $25000 or more in your account. You'll just get a warning.
2. There are no shares labeled as day trading only shares. There's ETF that are day trading vehicles but there are no rules about when you have to trade them.
The other thing is you must maintain over $25,000 in your account if you make more than 3 day trades in a 5 trading days. If you fall below this amount you will get a margin call.
In a word - you don't have to sell any shares if you don't want to... unless you have a margin call.

4. Stocks are not labeled, however your acct my be labeled as a day trader's acct by your brokerage firm. If this is the case you may run into your acct having a restriction for frequency of trades. You can get rid of this by applying for margin.
Nothing happens is you buy a stock and still have it at the end of the day.
5. Yes they will sell automatically if u using icici direct margin buy sell the system will sell it without asking before 15 min of market close
6. If you set it at Good Till Cancelled (GTC) order, it will expire at the end of the following month. But if it was a day order, it will expire when the markets closed for the day.
