What kind of algebra/math formulas do stock brokers use?

For a project in my Algebra 2 class we were assigned a job that requires mathematical formulas. I was assigned a stock broker, and I'm supposed to find out a formula that they use, and then write it on the board and explain it.

What is a formula that stock brokers use on a daily basis, and where can I find it on the net/find an example of it?
