If I get a rental from a realtor do I have to pay the brokers fee?

Im moving in the New york area, and Im not sure if I rent from a realtor do I or does the owner pay the broker fee? Im confused. I know I have to pay the security deposit and that months rent. I just need to know about the brokers fee or realtor fee? Basically who pays the realtor?

3. Yes the Realtor gets paid. They aren't doing there job for free. It isn't set in stone who pays but usually it is the renter.
