if you sell after 24 hours, is that considered day trading?

day trading sells within minutes or hours.
But let's say i buy today and sell tomorrow. Would that be considered day trading? Would I still be under the 25k rule?

basically, it would be "week trading" i guess.?

1. How about just trading or short term trading?

2. Investopedia's definition: Day trading is defined as the buying and selling of a security within a single trading day.

You also have to consider the tax implication of that type of trading as it is short term and short term gains are taxed more heavily than long term gains. Short term is anything sold under 1 year of ownership.
