I've been a proprietary trader for ten years working for a boutique firm trading U.S. Treasuries against futures for 6 years then trading commodities through the CME and Ice exchanges for 4. I traded a lot of crack spreads. I am not an algorythmic trader and although I can still make a decent living I know my days are numbered. I am curious if anyone on here worked as a professional trader and what they did after they stopped. I have an MBA and am in my early forties. I think I should get out soon before I hit an age where people are reluctant to hire me (hopefully im not there already). I am not looking for another trade, but a career after trading. Thanks for any advice.
