What is a best online stock trading platform for UK individual investor?

I notice some good online trading site, such as tradeking, accepts US investor only, so could you recommend a good one for UK individual investor? ideally a reliable, low fee one for stock trading, thanks.

I would always go with a large well-known respectable brokerage firm such as Barclay's or TD Waterhouse, Going with a smaller less-known firm may indeed save you a little on commissions in the short run, but unfortunately many of those are here today and gone tomorrow, putting your funds often at a much greater risk, than being invested in the stocks themselves.
