How do I trade on the Taiwan stock exchange?

Hi, I need to buy shares for a stock that's on the Taiwan stock exchange. Most american brokerage companies don't have access to this (or it gets crazy with pink slips or something). What's the simplest way to do this while not being in taiwan? Thanks.

1. There are several ways:

1. Trade Taiwan stocks that are listed on US market. E.g. TSM (Taiwan Semiconductor).

2. Trade Taiwan ETF. E.g. EWT.

3. When you visit Taiwan, find a reputable brokerage and open an account. When you are not there, you can call them to execute a trade, or use internet.
