What kind of charts do stock brokers use?

Do stock brokers use candlestick charts? Or do they use regular line charts? I am talking about real stock brokers not someone who sits at home and trades on the internet.

Public Comments

1. 90% of the stock brokers look at sales charts. Being a stock broker is mostly a sales position. They usually rely on Fundamental Analysis or basically what the company recommends to them.

The analysis at a broker that uses "technical analysis" will be no different than the general public. Many use line charts.... more use candle stick charts. Ultimately it's a minor difference. It's all personal preference.

2. A candlestick pattern is a short term pattern - most likely they would not be looked at by a large broker.
