What does a marketing manager do, and how do you become one?

I'm planning on getting my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Could I still become a marketing manager?

1. He markets the products of the Company. Marketing is defined as the life blood of business. Marketing and sales are different. Marketing is according to the needs of the Customer. You become one by becoming an adept at marketing. Upgrade your marketing skills !

2. Psychology Can make you a good HR manager. Are you not interested?
For Marketing, you have to earn a degree in Marketing Management. It includes but not limited to, Statistics, Economics, Accountancy, Advertisement and Publicity, foreign trade, Transportation, Distribution, Pricing and so on.
If you are keen you Can still become a marketing man.

3. It's possible. The job varies from place to place, but basically you manage the placement of items for high turn over.

In retail these are typically known as District Managers and they are generally hated by store managers who know their own areas and put things in places to make $$$ while the District MAnager want the poor selling items that don't make money up front so they can shovel them out and then ruins store profits in favor of item placement.
